8.7Verified guest“The views from the balconies and the restaurant are hard to beat – a first-rate panorama of Wawel Castle and the Vistula River. The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax with a drink as the sun goes down; that really stands out.”
8.7Verified guest“The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the river and facing the castle, and it's close to the centre. Breakfast was delicious, and the dinners I had at the hotel restaurant were very good. The manager and the rest of the staff were extremely kind.”
8.7Verified guest“The hotel bills itself as modern, and it lives up to that. The location is just across the Vistula and opposite Wawel Castle, a short walk from a busy bus and tram stop, so it's easy to get around. We had a river-view room and the view really is something. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were superb and very helpful – they arranged a 6 am airport taxi without any trouble. Breakfast was great. The Poleski runs a dinner restaurant, and you can tell they're making an effort to bring in meal revenue; it's clearly a tough business. We didn't eat there, choosing to take the bus into the centre for dinner. Overall, good value for money. Very pleasant staff, and English was fine – no need to fumble with Polish.”
8.7Verified guest“The hotel is modern. The location sits just across the Vistula River, opposite Wawel Castle, a short walk from a busy bus-tram stop. We had a river-view room and it really is a view. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were excellent and very accommodating – they set up a 6 am airport taxi with no issues. Breakfast was great. The Poleski also operates a dinner restaurant, clearly trying to draw in business. Looks like a tough venture. We didn't eat there, taking the bus to the centre for dinner. Good value overall. Very nice staff, and English worked fine without needing Polish.”
8.7Verified guest“The staff were brilliant and very helpful (as were most people serving you in Krakow, apart from a few grumpy taxi drivers). We arrived before check-in and left well after check-out, and the hotel looked after our luggage throughout. The continental breakfast was more than adequate, served in a pleasant dining room overlooking the river and castle. Our group had three rooms facing the castle and river, and they were all clean and tidy. The hot water pressure for showers was excellent. Beds were continental style – for doubles they're twins pushed together. It's about a half-hour walk along the river and across the bridge to the old town, or a short taxi ride. Excellent value and location for a European city break – very well recommended.”
